Our group is for anyone who enjoys a social ride, fresh air, and exploring some of Lancashire’s beautiful countryside. Our rides are typically between 15–30 miles long, at a relaxed pace of 10–12 mph on the flat, and we make an effort to use quiet roads and cycle paths whenever possible. We’ll always aim to find a nice spot for a brew and a bite to eat.
We pride ourselves on being a supportive group where no one is left behind. All types of bikes are welcome, including e-assisted, non-standard, and adapted cycles.
You should be comfortable riding on public roads, but rest assured we will keep busy roads to a minimum. All our rides are ridden and checked beforehand by the cycle lead, and a full description will be posted on our calendar. A GPX of the route is also available in advance if you’d like it.
For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, we kindly ask that all riders wear a cycle helmet.
