MOTO ( Members on Their Own ) group is open to single, widowed or divorced members to enjoy together social gatherings.
Other u3a groups with MOTO sub groups meet often monthly at a local pub to organise:
Lunch or evening meals at a pub or restaurant
Days out usually with afternoon tea
Forming a team or teams to get involved in pub quizzes
10 Pin bowling
and even short UK breaks at say Warners Leisure hotels or Alpha/ Shearings coach holidays
The Group could also arrange to get involved with current sub groups eg. games afternoons, theatre trips.
