Do you wonder who your ancestors were, and how they lived, worked and died?
If so, the Family History Group is for you, and it can get very addictive. There will be surprising revelations ahead.
The sessions are coordinated by Audrey and Steve Perry: we aim to show you the different sources of information available and to give you helpful hints.
Until we can safely work near to people we propose the following.
For existing members of this group, having renewed membership for 2020-21 we offer an email research service. Email us your query and we shall respond. If you have Skype or Facetime we can conduct further research while you are online.
For any existing, or new, members wishing to join this group, please contact us via the Groups page. We shall then reply, giving you a list of online search resources, our list of helpful hints and a basic pro forma family tree for you to start your research.
It will be useful if you can give the year and place of birth, parents’ names, sibling names and places they may have lived – especially in 1911 and 1939. We shall then get back in touch with you.
