As the Indoor Games group evolved and grew it became apparent the main interest was in playing cards, primarily Canasta, Bridge, Continental Rummy and occasionally Cribbage, usually the fall back game if we don’t have enough players to make up a table of four.
We have both experienced and new players in the group, it’s proving great fun learning together with an inexperienced player playing alongside a more experienced member to help their understanding of the game. If you’d like to learn a new card skill or brush up your knowledge please feel free to join us. All are welcome.
The group meets 13.30 – 15.30 on the first and third Thursday of the month at Withnell Fold Sports and Social Club. For the moment the cost is £2.50 (to cover room hire) including coffee and biccies – donations are appreciated for refreshments. PLEASE NOTE ON VERY RARE OCCASSIONS THE VENUE CAN CHANGE SO PLEASE DO CHECK THE EVENTS DIARY BEFORE TURNING UP!!
